community ministries

We believe that a church should love their neighbors both across the world, but especially right next door. We are active in the communities of Muldrow and Roland, and are continually looking for ways to serve. We are members of both the Muldrow Chamber of Commerce and the Roland Chamber of Commerce.

United Methodist Church: As part of the United Methodist Church, Trinity participates in supporting missions across the globe, through the beauty of our connectional denomination. Through our offerings, we help provide relief in crisis situations, plant new churches to reach the unchurched, provide a loving home for children in need, help provide funds for ministry in low income situations, battle malaria across the globe, and so much more.  Want more information about the United Methodist Church? United Methodist Women: The UMW meet on the second Monday of every month at 6:00 p.m. (April - October) and 9:30 a.m. (November - March) to encourage one another in their faith and participate in missions both locally and globally.

Food Pantry: Jesus commands his disciples to feed his people. We take that commandment seriously at Trinity. Through our food pantry, we can love our neighbors in a tangible way. This emergency food pantry includes vegetables, pasta, rice, fruit, and more. If you or someone you know is without food please contact us at 918-427-4151.

Helping Hands: We understand that sometimes life throws more at us then we can handle by ourselves. In those situations, we believe it is the responsibility of the church to provide God's grace through financial assistance. Our Helping Hands ministry assists people in crisis situations by helping provide funds for utility bill assistance. We work with other local churches and agencies to help people in their times of need.

Al-Anon Support Group: Are you affected by someone's problem drinking? Friends and families of problem drinkers find understanding here on Tuesday's at 6:30 p.m.

12-Step Program (Open Meeting): It’s not unusual to feel unsure about going to your first Al‑Anon meeting. Many long-time Al‑Anon members - male and female - still remember how reluctant they were to go to that meeting. They felt vulnerable, at a difficult time in their lives. But they found understanding and support there, and were glad they went. Join us Tuesday's, Thursday's and Sunday's at 6:30 p.m.

Prayer Shawl: The Prayer Shawl Ministry meets on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. and all are welcome - young and old, male or female - to gather together to crochet or knit. Most of their completed projects are donated to various help organizations.

Kozie Quilters: Trinity UMC is filled with ladies making quilts each Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. While they make some quilts for their friends and families, they also make quilts for those in need. In 2016, they gave away over 250 quilts including the Crisis Center in Sallisaw, OK, Catholic Charities, Sequoyah County DHS, Head Start, and to families that have experienced crisis such as fires that destroy a families home.

Workout Buddies: A free exercise class designed for women of all ages and fitness levels. Join us Tuesday's and Thursday's from 10:00 - 10:30 a.m. for a low impact workout or from 6:15 - 7:00 p.m. for a higher impact workout!
